Citrine Facial Massage Tool

Start with oil. The tool needs slip. A few drops of facial oil across the face and neck, pressed in with the hands first. Never use it on dry skin.

Warm the neck first. Before touching the face, run the domed head down each side of the neck, from just below the ear to the collarbone. Three or four passes each side. This opens the route everything else drains toward.

Under the eyes. Hold the stem, use the very edge of the dome. From the inner corner, sweep outward along the orbital bone toward the temple. Featherlight. This skin is the thinnest on the body and does not need pressure.

Cheeks. Sit the dome into the hollow beneath the cheekbone. Sweep outward and slightly up, toward the ear. Repeat five or six times each side.

Jaw. Start at the chin, follow the jawline out to the ear. If you clench, this is where you will feel it. Slow down here rather than pressing harder.

Finish where you started. Return to the neck. Three or four downward passes each side to close.

Then clean it. Warm water, mild soap, dry properly with a soft cloth. Back into its bag.

A few things worth knowing

Five minutes is enough. This is a daily practice, not a deep tissue treatment.

Always work outward and downward, toward the neck. That direction is the whole point.

Light pressure throughout. If the skin is dragging, you need more oil, not more force.

Mornings suit it best, when the face is puffiest.

Avoid broken skin, active breakouts, or anything inflamed. If you have had recent facial surgery or injectables, speak to your practitioner before you start.

Citrine is natural stone and will chip if dropped on a hard surface. Store it in its bag.
