A Wellness Day in Bath: The Perfect Addition to Your Visit

Bath has a way of slowing you down. Between the golden stone architecture, the gentle curve of the Avon, and streets that feel untouched by time, it's a city that naturally invites you to breathe. And if you're already here, why not lean into that fully?

Whether you're visiting for a weekend break, a hen party, or a solo adventure, building a wellness element into your Bath itinerary is one of the best things you can do. Here's how we'd plan a perfect wellness day in Bath including a treatment at our studio near the Royal Crescent.

Morning: Breakfast at Landrace Bakery

Start the day properly. Landrace Bakery is one of Bath's most loved spots exceptional pastries, serious coffee, and the kind of unhurried atmosphere that sets the tone for a slow, restorative day. Get there early, order something warm, and take your time.

If you're after something more substantial before a big day of exploring, Green Street Butchers does brilliant breakfast and lunchtime baps, proper, no-fuss food done really well.

A Bath favourite and well worth seeking out.

Mid-Morning: The Roman Baths

The Roman Baths are a non-negotiable. Arrive early to beat the crowds and take your time with the ancient thermal pools. It's a genuinely humbling experience, and a beautiful way to set the tone for a day of rest and restoration.

Guided audio tours are included with entry.

Late Morning: Walk to the Royal Crescent and a matcha on the way

From the Baths, it's a beautiful 15-minute walk up through the city to the Royal Crescent one of the most iconic stretches of Georgian architecture in the world.

On your way, stop into Matchating for a matcha. A really special little spot and a great pause before the afternoon.

Take your time through the Circus, breathe it all in. You're now moments from our studio.

Midday: Your Treatment at Luxe Amore Studio

Nestled in the elegant quarter of St James's Place just a short stroll from the Royal Crescent, Luxe Amore Studio is one of Bath's finest wellness spaces.

We offer a curated selection of treatments designed to genuinely restore:

  • Bespoke massage therapy -from deeply restorative Swedish to targeted deep tissue

  • Sculpting facials — including The Facespace, our signature facial workout

  • Reflexology — grounding, calming, and deeply effective

  • Duo treatments — side-by-side massages for couples or friends in our dedicated duo room

As seen in Bath Life Magazine, and loved by visitors from across the UK and beyond, the studio has earned a reputation for treatments that are genuinely transformative, not just relaxing.

Afternoon: Explore & Unwind

After your treatment, there's no rush. Wander through the Victoria Park flower gardens, browse the independent shops on Milsom Street, or simply sit and watch the city move at its own gentle pace.

Evening: Dinner in Bath

For dinner, two of our favourite Bath recommendations — Solina for a relaxed, neighbourhood feel with really good food, or Walcot House if you're after something a little more special. Both are beloved by locals and visitors alike and the perfect way to round off a day well spent.
